Hotel overview

Monte Zoncolan Sutrio stands as a scenic ski resort nestled in the Carnic Alps of northeastern Italy. Known for its challenging slopes and breathtaking sunset views, it attracts both ski enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The mountain reaches heights of up to 1,750 meters and offers several ascent routes with varying difficulties, including the famously steep climb from Ovaro.

The resort blends alpine adventure with a welcoming local atmosphere, including authentic mountain huts serving homemade delicacies. The surrounding village of Sutrio charms visitors with quaint stone streets and traditional storefronts, providing an inviting cultural experience beyond the slopes.

Accessibility is prioritized here, featuring wheelchair-accessible facilities including entrance, parking, and restrooms. Families find the resort accommodating and enjoyable, with amenities suitable for children and relaxing spots to unwind after outdoor activities.

While some travelers note a quieter nightlife offering, the focus remains on enjoying the natural beauty, active pursuits, and hospitality of the mountain community. Seasonal limitations apply as some high-altitude routes and alpine huts close during late spring, but the landscape remains magnificent year-round.
